After years as an investment banker and management professional, Aman followed his heart and became an entrepreneur. His passion for hospitality, travelling and all things outdoors helped him transition seamlessly into founding and running V are Family. His desire to provide guests with the perfect holiday drives him to be involved in every step of the selection process for vacation homes. Living out of Delhi, Aman spends his days working, playing golf and enjoying the company of his wife Puja and their two children Armaan and Nayantara, and his furry pets. He is a graduate of Babson College, USA, and has worked as an investment banker in New York and with Ernst & Young in India.

A graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), New York, Puja specialized in Fashion Merchandising Management. She has since worked with major fashion brands including Donna Karan, and Trusardi and Mondo Di Marco. Creative by nature she has incubated and managed a few niche brands including her own fusion womenswear and created healing crystal products. Puja has been involved, in many capacities, with V are Family form its incubation. Puja Loves to spend time in nature, with family and loved ones, and always looking for that perfect coffee and chasing a sunset ! She is married to Aman with two children Armaan and Nayantara.

Bhawna is the epitome of a kind and compassionate woman who is a mother of two young teenagers, and has sincerely looked after her family and loves to spend time with her extended family. She is passionate about looking after a home and cooking and baking comes as an extension of her warmth. Therefor being a Vacation Manager at V are Family naturally has become an extension of her personality. She helps the guests plan the best curated experience. A Graduate from Hansraj College, and a one year Diploma in Fashion and Clothing Technology from NIFT Bhawna has always Loved experimenting with cooking various cuisines. Her passion to Travel and listen to music have lent a great blend at V are Family.

Tirthankar is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 16 years of experience. He is Driven by a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in an expansive role he joined VareFamily. His dedication to the industry is evident in his commitment to sharing knowledge and inspiring his team. A proud alumnus of IHM Pusa, with Awards earned in the industry, he has honed his skills in renowned organizations such as Jaypee Hotels, Lemon Tree Hotels, and The Park. He is an avid traveller and explores new destinations driving down on his cruiser bike. He is also a fitness enthusiast. He balances his active lifestyle with a sweet tooth. Hailing from the vibrant city of Kolkata, he brings a unique blend of experience and enthusiasm to his role.

Divya originates from Himachal, and after years of corporate jobs, she decided to return to her roots and work toward ethically running a Homestay in the Hills, where the spirit, culture, and environment of the state are kept intact in the best possible way. She lives with her loving parents and doesn't shy away from lending a helping hand to those in need.

If you have stayed at one of our Kasauli homes chances are you have met Karuna. She has handled most of the properties across regions at some point. She is effortless at handling staff and personalised guest requirements. Having spent three decades in academics, and as an educator, Karuna now brings the full force of her compassion, enthusiasm and responsibility to her new role; providing guests with the most comfortable experience possible. A freethinker and nurturer at heart, Karuna, who is originally from Kolkata, currently lives in Kasauli.

For nearly thirteen years, Akashdeep navigated the dynamic landscape of hospitality, from overseeing grand openings to executing strategic initiatives. Beyond the professional realm, he cherish moments of tranquility with my family in the serene hills of Kasauli. Fuelled by a passion for service and a knack for team leadership, Akash strive to create unforgettable experiences for guests and colleagues alike.

Swati worked for a software start-up when she first felt the pull towards the travel industry. Always an eager traveller, she soon decided to follow her heart and joined V are Family where her meticulous manner has helped her develop the strong ability to manage a team and excel within the company. Now Chief of Goa, she manages all daily operations at our beach bungalows. Having spent her childhood in Maharashtra, Swati is married and has been staying in Goa and an avid foodie. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Videography.

Guna Joshi originally worked in the world of advertising before pivoting to the hospitality industry where he has now worked for more than a decade. Due to his ability to juggle multiple projects and teams at the same time, as well as his expert handling of guest relations, he is the ideal man to lead our on-site teams. Guna is a local of Mussoorie, where he stays with his wife Illene and daughter Ishita.

Victor Smetacek is the Guest Relations Chief of Nainital. He is cheerful, thoughtful and, considerate, and good at finding solutions for any problems you present him with. He lives on his family’s forest estate in Bhimtal. Therefore, naturally his passion grew out of this for trekking, mountaineering, angling,and environmental conservation. His ability to be calm and always find a solution, with a mission for giving the guests a memorable vacation is what especially stands out in his personality.

Puran Bisht is the Regional Chief of Nainital. He is hard-working and thoughtful, great at handling many teams & jobs seamlessly. He has been in the hospitality industry for more than ten years. He is from Dhanachuli, Uttarakhand, & lives near Nainital with his wife and son. Puran is easy to adapt to new situations and challenges.
