Vacation homes:

• Need breathing time for optimal upkeep, ensuring enough gaps between arrival and departures. Large spaces of 3,000+ square feet cannot be turned around to acceptable standard in just a few hours. Ideally, they need a 24-hour gap between an arrival and departure.
• Have a responsibility for not disturbing the neighbourhood in any manner whatsoever. Expectations with guests need to be set for no loud music and noises that may be a disturbance to anyone.
• Should not be shared by multiple groups simultaneously, as they are originally designed for use by one group or family in terms of common area and basic infrastructure.

Occupancy levels (and accordingly earnings) need to be optimised to ensure these primary objectives are met. Likeminded homeowners understand the importance of striking a balance between guest occupancy, maintenance needs, and personal use. Proximity to key metros plays a pivotal role in our selection process. We primarily cater to outbound footfall from metros who are looking for break from their urban schedules and environments.  We limit our choices to homes ideally within a 6-to-7-hour drive from key metros like New Delhi, & Chandigarh, ensuring convenience for our guests while maintaining accessibility. Our focus is on families and groups from 8 to 20 people that are accompanied with infants, children, and senior citizens.  Accordingly, door to door travel time is a key factor.

Indoor & outdoor harmony

A hallmark of V are Family's holiday villas is the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. We believe that a perfect vacation entails moments of both relaxation and exploration. Therefore, we prioritise homes with a harmonious minimum 1:1 ratio of outdoor to indoor space, with a strong preference for larger outdoor spaces like sun decks, balconies, entry porches, verandas, and gardens.
